Watching the team transform Park House Barn - a stunning event venue located on a working farm near Milnthorpe on the edge of the Lake District, Cumbria - is quite mesmerising.
Starting with a renovated barn, Frankie (Park House Barn), Marie (Sitting Pretty Cumbria), and Emma (Emma Jane Events) work together to create a magical atmosphere that is sure to get any party rocking.
"Seeing our ideas come to life is amazing," says Frankie Morton, Events Creation Manager at Park House Barn. With almost one year under her belt working for Park House, Frankie is pleased with how business is going.
"The venue is open all year round and we can host any type of event, in the barn or if you prefer in a marquee or teepee. From weddings to corporate launches and Christmas parties, we can cater for them all. We have a full licence with a fabulous bar and a number of fantastic caterers and specialist drinks providers.
With the ability to seat up to 200 people, Park House Barn is an empty canvas ready for your or Frankie's creative thoughts. The barn, which is an original 16th-century half-cruck barn, has original wood beams, oodles of rustic charm, and a heating system to rival most homes.
Once the ideas are in place, Frankie calls on the team to bring the vision into reality. Marie Scott from Sitting Pretty Cumbria is a recent addition to the supplier team. Providing beautiful chair covers, sashes, table runners, and all things pretty, Marie has an eye for detail and loves colour.
"With a vast array of options and accessories, Sitting Pretty Cumbria can bring your seating and table ideas to life with colour and design co-ordination," says Marie. Based in Barrow in Furness, Sitting Pretty supplies venues and party organisers all across Cumbria.
Emma, the owner of Emma Jane Events, succinctly sums up her business, "Give us a blank canvas, and we can create your perfect event." Specialising in wedding and event decor, Emma is a stylist who can help bring a vision to life as well as supplying the lighting options, backdrops, archways, centerpieces, and accessories. Emma covers Cumbria, Lancashire and onto North Yorkshire
After a few hours, a lot of hard work and creative consideration, the team had converted the beautiful but bare barn into a stunning space, warm, inviting and ready to host a party.
Set in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside just off the main A6 road Park House Barn offers amazing views of the Kent Estuary. Frankie is happy to show people around and often holds open evening events, so check out the website and go and have a look.
